According to the exclusive report of SamMobile, Samsung is developing a new smart watch, which will be the successor to the Gear S3 series (launched in late 2016) and Gear Sport (released in October 2017). The new watch model is the SM-R800, which should be called the Samsung Gear S4, but the name is not yet known.
At present, there are not many details about this Samsung Gear S4. Not surprisingly, the new watch should bring internal hardware upgrades, enhanced fitness features, and more accurate sleep tracking.
Similar to its predecessors, the Gear S4 is likely to run Samsung’s own Tizen operating system. It is expected that the new device will be compatible with Android and iOS phones, just like the Gear S3 Classic, Gear S3 Frontier and Gear Sport.
Unfortunately, the Samsung Gear S4 SM-R800 will not be available soon, and it may be the earliest until the fourth quarter of this year.
